Bath is a beautiful city! The whole city is a UNESCO world heritage site and is known for its natural hot springs and Georgian architecture. I wish I could've spent longer here as there's so much to do and explore! It's definitely my second favourite UK city after London. It's not really a place you can do in less than 24 hours but that said, I’ve compiled a mini-tour guide to my view of the city that you could do in 24/36 hours.
Where to go... Pulteney Bridge
Imagine a normal road with shops either side but with water flowing underneath. Pulteney Bridge is one of four bridges in the world to have shops running either side down the bridge. You can even stop off in one of the bakeries and watch the river flow beneath you.
Where to eat/ shop... Sally Lunn's
Pop into Sally Lunn’s for one of her famous buns! Freshly baked at 10am every day, Sally's buns are huge (couldn't resist) and are very similar to brioche. The quaint little tea shop is said to be in the oldest house in Bath and is usually packed with people. Whilst there is the option to sit in the tea shop, we chose to pick up a few buns from the museum shop to have later.
Where to go… Roman Baths
The Roman baths are a must-see tourist attraction! Built on natural mineral-rich hot springs, the baths played a critical role in the city’s history and development. All the Roman architecture was still intact making it feel like you’d stepped back in time. Towards the end, you could sit next to the main bath which was so relaxing. Oh, and you get to try some of the hot spring water for yourself!
Where to eat… Boston Tea Party
This cafe is so cute! It’s bright inside and has a chilled vibe; perfect for a little rest from a day’s exploring. It’s abnormally long for a cafe but a great place to go with your laptop and do some work. I discovered this (not-so-little) gem just around the corner from the Fashion Museum. They have a lovely selection of cakes including gluten-free options.
Where to go… Fashion Museum
It wouldn't be a proper trip if I didn't look for anything fashion related and of course, I ended up in Bath's Fashion Museum. It's not that expensive to get in and the permanent exhibition, 'A History of Fashion in 100 Objects', takes you through different styles of clothing and how they were introduced. If you have time, do check it out as you may learn a few things.
Where to go… Royal Crescent
Either during the day or evening, take a walk around the Circus and up through to the Royal Crescent. There is also a museum at no. 1 which you could pop into if you wanted. The famous semi-circle road looks out over the city providing breathtaking views and is a picture perfect place!
Where to eat… Hall & Wood House
We ended up spending two whole hours here just devouring their gorgeous food. The place is massive with 4 levels, including a rooftop terrace. The decor is gorgeous! The large skylight in the roof makes the place so bright inside. I definitely recommend their roasts. Pure Bliss!
I hope my guide encourages you to visit Bath if you haven't already been. It really is a beautiful place!

London is such a beautiful city! One of my favourite things to do during winter is to walk around and look at all the winter lights around the city. As London is so massive, with lots to do and see, I thought I do a little post on some of the must-see lights of London. All the pictures were taken mostly at night as that’s the best way to see them.

The other day I went out by myself for a mini adventure around London. I started at Somerset house to see the big Christmas Tree next to the skating rink they put up.
From there I walked up to Covent Garden to catch a look at the giant Baubles and Mistletoe. After taking a billion pictures of the baubles and around the square, I walked through Leicester Square and over to Piccadilly Circus, London’s mini Times Square.
Heading up Regent Street, I walked up towards Oxford Circus stopping to look at the Hamley’s window display. I remember as I kid being fascinated with the window displays; they were always amazing to look at!
I took quite a few pictures of the angels hung above the roads. They’re so cute and innocent hung up there. It makes the road beneath feel special.

I followed Oxford Street down to John Lewis to pick something up for my Mum, looking at the hanging lights and Christmas displays around the store.
I then walked down to Selfridge’s which I ended up getting lost in. They have some cute lights on the side of their building which I think encompasses the romance of Christmas.
After that, I headed back up Oxford Street to walk down New Bond Street, which is my favourite street ever! It’s a road full of designers from Valentino, Dior, Chanel, Cartier, Ralph Lauren, Gucci etc. I love walking down the road when it’s dark and during winter. All the stores glisten and sparkle; it’s magical. I had a lot of fun walking down this street.
I then headed towards Green Park station to head home. London is a great place to walk around and explore as all the attractions are spread out across the city.

It's almost Christmas! For this Blogmas post, I wanted to do something a little different. It's the most magical time of the year and I thought I'd share this post since it's about a magical place I visited in the summer. Enjoy! x
It felt like I'd stepped into a fairy tale. I'd never seen anything like it. It was so beautiful; magical. Sintra is like a real-life version of the animated Disney Princess films. You just have to walk around the village and look at the view of the mountain front of you, to feel how awe-inspiring this place is. Sintra, for sure, is one of the most magical places I've ever visited.
My Friend and I walked around the National Palace of Sintra and I remember looking out of one of the windows onto the village in front, on the side of this mountain. I had to stop for a moment and just stare at the scene in front of me. It was like I was living in a fairy tale. As if any moment Belle or Cinderella or Aurora were going to pop out from a side road and walk down the road swinging their basket of fresh bread. The view from the window was breathtakingly beautiful and I wish I could live in a fairytale land. I could picture the life behind the window, people walking around the village, horse and carts on the road.
And the magic didn't stop there. About 15 minutes from the main village, we came to the gates of Quinta da Regaleiara. It had been suggested by one of my friends that it would be more worthwhile to visit this palace and gardens than the Pena Palace and I'm so happy we ended up going here. It was exactly like Beauty and the Beast. Every part of the gardens and the architecture on the house reminded me of the Beasts Castle.
There was no escaping it with the large foresty gardens and distinctive architecture, that this place contained something so beautiful, it was almost magical. I could picture beast living inside the palace, swinging from the roof as he landed on a foresty path with statues. Every corner of the gardens was a new place to explore; they had underground passageways, wells, ponds and waterfalls. Don't even get me started on the decor inside the castle. There were little tea cups that reminded me of Chip and the dresser in the bedroom looked exactly like the one in the film, Madame de La Grand Bouche.

My holiday to Lisbon was a massive game changer for me. It changed the way I viewed travelling and the way I saw everything. Portugal is beautiful, absolutely stunning. Lisbon is a great city of culture, beauty and so many damn hills! Aside from trekking up all of the hills, I had a beautiful time and I really want to go back. I travelled with one of my best friends and we stayed in the Lux Lisboa Park hotel. A 4*, very modern and techy hotel (think touchscreen panel for the lights). It was in a good location with travel nearby. It was also on top of a massive hill! Not great at 11pm and a bursting bladder!
I took so many photos; a balance of touristy photos, outfit photos and photos of beautiful things. Instead of writing a very long post on the tales of my holiday, I thought I'd show you some snaps from my hols along with a little commentary.
On our first day we decided to explore the Alfama, it was one of the must-do's. Think steep hills, beautiful alleys and two kids lost. We had no idea where we were going but we hoped it was in the direction of Castelo Sao Jorge.

Of course, we couldn't go to the Monestry and not copy the Estee Lalonde pic from her Lisbon Travels.
The Botanical gardens were beautiful. I got really excited at the palm style trees like any Brit.
I'm not a big fan of custard tarts but everyone I asked had told me to try the famous Portuguese custard tarts. They were so delicious with a sprinkle of cinnamon and icing sugar.
Sintra was one of my favourite places to visit and I have a post coming up on that soon. It was gorgeous and magical. Unfortunately, my camera ran out of battery and stupid me forgot my charger so I had to switch over to my phone.
This was a sad day for my skin. I got sunburned in the most ridiculous places and shapes. On the positive side, the beach was beautiful. It had a tropical feeling and the atmosphere was the polar opposite from an English beach.
Our last day was an emotional but welcomed day. We visited all of the places we hadn't a chance too including the Time Out Market. If you ever visit Lisbon, I definitely recommend going here. It's an indoor food court with fantastic quality food at affordable prices. I chose Codfish cakes with Tomato rice.
So that's my Lisbon Holiday wrapped as small as I could. Well done, if you made it to the end and are reading this. It was so fun to travel with a friend and I definitely need to go on more girls holidays.
